Visage Imaging is pleased to announce the maintenance release 5.2.1 of Amira. This release provides a number of enhancements and bug fixes to Amira that increase its efficiency, ease of use and robustness.

• Improved Magic Wand tool in the Segmentation Editor - The data range of the Magic Wand tool can be adjusted interactively without resetting the seed point. The seed point's data value is indicated in the data range slider.
• MATLAB (The Mathworks, Inc.) connectivity is now available on Linux and Mac OS X platforms.
• Debug Libraries for Windows - The Developer Option now contains all Amira debug libraries for Windows. This improves your ability to debug your own modules.
